Knife
As early as 2003, throwing stars, automatic, gravity, fist and butterfly knives were banned. A new Section 42a now also prohibits the carrying of so-called "one-handed knives" (those whose blade can be opened with one hand) or knives with a fixed blade over 12 cm in length. A violation is disorderly and includes a fine. The law allows weapons but also has a crucial exception: if a legitimate interest does not prejudge the ban. What interest is entitled is described in the Arms Act: practice, Customs care, sports, or a generally-accepted purpose. The list is not exhaustive, so that each socially-accepted continued use of knives is possible. No legitimate interest is after the legislative intent, on the other hand, a knife with a means of defense to lead. If the knife is in a sealed container during transport, it is also exempt from the prohibition.

Slash and Strike Weapons
Under the knife described to Perform ban includes slash and strike weapons are objects which by their nature are intended to be under the direct use of muscle power by blow, push, stab, shock, or icause njuries if thrown (for example: daggers, swords, batons). This also applies to them but there is a general exception for a legitimate interest.
